So I was having a bit of nostalgia and was reminiscing on some of the video game music I enjoyed from my childhood when I saw that my man Modi tweeted about the superiority of the Super NES MarioKart music. While I appreciated his perspective, I respectfully disagreed. This song, the post-race music from MarioKart 64, always trumped all for me as some of the best video game music ever. Someone (apparently Kenta Nagata) straight up COMPOSED this right here. And yes, the time signature is 11/8.
